i’m sorry it didn’t work out but remember that you are not starting over. you take from every experience a little more knowledge of exactly what and why. when it does happen … it will be perfect. kitchen space and all. xoxo
it’s the looking that starting all over again. Signing the termination letter was the smartest thing we could do, but I still can’t help but be a little disappointed! Just a little!!! *sigh*
Just so you don’t feel alone … I should remind you that we too walked away from our first attempt after the inspection portion of the process. The roof was in dire need of replacement and the entire electrical system needed to be updated. We could afford neither and the owner would not budge on price … so we walked. I was disappointed, but in hindsight it all worked out for the best. At least on our second attempt we were wiser to a few things about the process … and we knew we did not need to “settle”.
But, back to you! You are going to be fine in all of this. You will find something that is not “broken”, but getting back in the swing of looking can be tough at first. Still, it is an exciting kind of tough, and well worth it in the long run. Plus, you can rest assured that you are in good hads with the trusty Mr. F on your side. He will always steer you in the right direction.
Hear! Hear! I was just telling someone last night that I am feeling better about the whole process. I will never, ever look at electrical in the same way!
ps~ you are right about Mr. F – he is keeping us sane! 🙂
