This is the face that means business. This is the face that says, “mess with me. i dare ya.” This should be my face today. Yesterday, one of my staff didn’t make a deadline which made me look bad. Today, the other shoe drops…with no regrets.
Tonight we go where we haven’t. At least not in a very long time. I’m not sure I’m up to it. I haven’t run in two days Today will be three. I don’t have that Kick In The Azz ‘Tude. And yet, this is the face I should have.

the day before yesterday i got on the tread with the minimal goal of 2 miles. i didn’t have a lot of energy but needed something. i made it .6 before sitting down on the damn thing and fighting back tears from the life funk i seem to be in. twenty minutes later i got pissed off and i got my ass back on the damn thing and did my 2 miles … in record time i might add. later this morning, i have the MRI of my knee to determine if i’m going to have to sit it our for awhile or if the doc will give me the clear to keep abusing my body. if ever there was a day i need you to find that azz’tude and run “for me” today would be it. so face or not, i’m daring to mess with you 🙂
I will definitely call you this weekend, by the way. 🙂 I haven’t talked to you in foreeeever.
it seems that next year we will be sharing the same state, although on different ends. But how exciting is that??
